Includes correspondence, legal papers, mortgages, blueprints, bonds, and deeds of trust for real estate owned by the college, both farms and buildings. Most papers indicate problems or conditions of the time, especially during the Depression. Most routine documents were discarded. For a few properties all papers were retained that were especially revealing about their times and farm contitions. These sample properties were the Felt farm and properties in Cerro Gordo county and Emmet County.
